Why Anti-PseudoReality?

If Thoreau were with us today, he would not say that "Most men lead lives of quiet desparation." Instead, he would say that "Most men lead lives of internalized self-deception." Not to mention, procrastination. And furthermore, judging by the ubiquitous acid reflux commercials I keep seeing, I believe Thoreau might throw in "and bad digestion", as well. It's certainly sonorous, which is of no small concern to the author of such ditties as,

My Life Has Been the Poem

My life has been the poem I would have writ,
But I could not both live and utter it.

But I digress.

Since this is my first blog entry, I believe I should state the overall purpose. Quite frankly, the reason I signed up with blogger was not because I thought anybody particularly cared to read my own ruminations, but because I wanted to comment on somebody else's blogerly ruminations. However, since I've have taken the trouble to sign up, I may as well impart some of my keen insights to the suffering souls which haunt the blogosphere, looking for who knows what. If the afore-mentioned souls are like those I run into daily, and are related to, then they victims of a PseudoReality foisted on them by deceitful elites, their subservient Mandarins, and less exalted functionaries who perform their duties in a greater or lesser state of awareness.

I shall endeavor to waken them from their slumber.
